NYC - Day 5 & 6
Wednesday we went down to the southern tip of Manhattan Island to take the ferry (free!) to see the Statue of liberty. It was awesome. The statue is just so freaking majestic. Oh man. Loved it. Ferry boat rides are always fun also. Do I wish we could have actually stopped at the Statue? Of course. Unfortunately tickets for that sell out way in advance (am talking 1-2 months) and we didn't think to purchase them soon enough. sad because he has no money Afterwords we walked through the financial district, checked out the New York Stock exchange, had some more good Vietnamese sandwiches, and then headed back up to Broadway for our show. Les Mis was DEFINITELY the highlight of the trip for me. It. Was. Amazing. I can’t even tell you how good it was. It brought tears to my eyes. I absolutely loved it. After the show we made our way back down to the southern tip of Manhattan to check out the Jewish Heritage Museum, which turned out to be pretty awesome as well. The first ...
